Paul LaViolette’s Galactic Superwave Theory
The third theory why there are cyclic Earth cataclysms
Paul LaViolette, Ph.D. was a pioneer in researching Earth catastrophes. He used his advanced degrees in physics and systems science, knowledge of astrology, and study of past catastrophes and survivors in developing his Galactic Superwave Theory. He is also the author of five books. I had the pleasure of interviewing Paul on my YouTube channel in October of 2021 before he passed in 2022. The link will take you directly to the interview in which Paul used a PowerPoint presentation that goes into much more detail than I will include here.
His theory is based on a cyclic galactic superwave that emanates from the explosion of the core of the galactic center. He estimates that this cycle occurs every 26,000 years plus or minus 3000 years with the possibility of a 13,000-year recurrent cycle. The latter is close to both Ben Davidson’s and Doug Vogt’s estimate of recurrent Earth catastrophes. The ancient Greeks also talked about a cyclic period called “The Great Year,” which lasted about 26,000 years. This Greek Great Year consisted of two catastrophic times called the “Great Summer” when fire took over the Earth and the “Great Winter” called kataclysmos meaning deluge. These “Years” were 13,000 years long.
The following is a synopsis of his theory and later I will go into more detail.
His galactic superwave theory is based on the premise that there is a cyclic explosion of the core of our galaxy. Once the core of the galaxy explodes, it creates a galactic wind that pushes cosmic dust into our solar system. Cosmic rays will bombard the Earth and the sun. These cosmic rays cause large solar flares with extremely large coronal mass ejections (CMEs). The Earth-directed CMEs cause a geomagnetic pole reversal that results in what Paul calls, an extinction event.
The following is a boiled-down version of the sequence of events in a galactic superwave.
There will be gravity waves that impact the Earth causing global earthquakes and the Earth’s polar axis to jerk which may produce floods.
Two days later, high energy cosmic rays begin arriving and the sun looks like the Hopi Blue Star that has been prophesized to occur at the end times. The first three days are the most intense. The cosmic rays may potentially destroy the ozone layer causing increased ultraviolet radiation. He suggests to take cover underground to escape the radiation.
From Paul LaViolette’s video about his book, Earth Under Fire: Humanity’s Survival of the Ice Age
Interstellar hydrogen gas wind penetrates the solar system that is driven by the cosmic ray wind. These cosmic rays and electromagnetic pulse, which looks like a nuclear explosion, would destroy satellites. Communication systems would go down but we may be able to use shortwave radios. Powerlines may develop voltage surges burning out transformers. Paul predicts that we may be without grid power for 10 years.
Within days, the galactic cosmic wind of protons and electrons evolves predominately into a cosmic ray electron wind. This may cause temporary climatic cooling.
The solar system is immersed in negatively charged particles and electrogravity raises the ambient gravity potential. This may cause Philadelphia Experiment-like effects. The Philadelphia Experiment is alleged to have occurred in 1943 when the US Navy used the USS Eldridge in their invisibility experiment. The ship allegedly disappeared and when it reappeared, the crew were found embedded within the deck, fused to bulkheads, experienced mental disorders and some vanished. This is similar to what Doug Vogt said would happen at the time of the reversal – that matter would dissolve into pure information/light and then rematerialize.
The cosmic ray wind begins pushing cosmic dust into the solar system. It takes several months for the dust to reach the inner solar system.
If the events persist, the sun is choked in a cosmic dust cocoon and transformed into an actively flaring star. The sun will appear red. Killer solar flares scorch the Earth and cause mass extinction.
Huge climate effects begin. This could either initiate an ice age or could produce climatic warming and terminate an ice age due to the solar radiation being unable to escape because it gets reflected back by the dust. There can be rapid melting causing continental glacier waves that reshape the surface of the Earth.
Dr. LaViolette predicts a 90% chance of this occurring and stated to me that the process may have already begun with the increase in seismic activity.
If you read my blog, “The Recurrent Micronova Theory,” you will notice the similarities between what Ben Davidson predicts and what Paul LaViolette predicts around the time of the geomagnetic shift. Both talk about cosmic dust that consists of charged particles that enters our solar system and causes the sun to have huge solar flares. They also say that this may result in extreme cooling of the Earth and/or catastrophic floods that in the end result in mass extinction.
On a lighter note, Paul thinks that this event might produce a “collective mind” and give those that survive telepathy.
In my next blog, I will look into the theme of the three days of darkness or in Paul’s case, “the first three days will be the worst.” Why three days? Who else predicts this? Stay tuned!
